Rigo

Hungarian ex-husband of Clara Ward. Surrounded by ten musicians said to be “gypsy”. Because of an accident Rigo could not play but directed his orchestra with one hand bound. He is squatty and ungainlt in evening dress.

Joe Welch

He opens with a coule of small boys

Chassino

Does clever shadowgraphs and does not use profile aids until his last section. He should shave his arms, as some of the imitations are hurt by the shadow of hairy arms. His pedal shadowgraphs are new.

Cheridah Simpson

Simpson replaced Truly Shattuck in the role of “The Widow”. Simpson has a far better stage presence. Simpson has worked with the other girls and they are doing much better and have much more “vim.” “Blanche Burnhamn as Miss New York. Carolyn Lilja, Beatrice LaMour and Bessie Reno, representing San Francisco,New Orleans and St. Louis respectively.” May York looks suggest liveliness and is handicapped by representing Phildelphia, should play a livelier city.

Asra

Did most of his juggling with rubber balls bouncing off a billard table. Most of his act is a derivation of other juggling acts.

Arther Prince

His appeal is his genuine ventriloquism. Holds the stage too long, his arm is positioned awkwardly on the sofa and his handling of a newspaper with one hand is bad. Makes better use of a cigar than most by letting smoke come out of his mouth when he speaks but holding it back as the dummy.
