Walters and Prouty

A burlesque Spanish dance by the Hebrew comedian was very funny and won some laughs.

Fred Walton and Company

Cissie is a youngster who has crept out of bed to play with her toys after the nurse has left. She is found and put back to bed. There is a dark change to a setting of an enlarged toy cupboard where all the toys have become real. The toy soilders duel which frightens the child and causes her to cry out. The nurse wakes her and shows he the toys are in the cupboard. Mr. Walton does pantomiming, of which he is very good.

Frank Lynne

Made an appearance in a green suit. He worked very hard to score an effect.

William Courtleigh

An American version of “A Case of Arson” but some of the parts have been well disguised. The supporting cast is smothered through the fine makeup and forcful work William Randall as the Inspector of Police. Delfiah Bryant plays the wife of the acuse and compels her husband to confes in a very dramatic finale scene. The sketch is overdramatically drawn.

Sisters Celesse

One of them dresses a boy, the other in a shabby girls dress apropriate for a six year old. The girl comes out trundling a doll’s perambula and is the real worker of the show, with the other sister throwing things to her. Juggled oranges, plates, bottles and parasols.

R.A. Roberts

Had a little trouble with the lights (the house is to blame, not him)

Blanche Dayne

has a really good chance to act in this Cressy sketch. Sinks her own indivduality into the part of the leading lady. Cressy is good as the Poo Bah of the Town Hall.

Harry B. Lester

Bills himself as the “College Boy Comedian” which is both incorrect and someone elses name. He ogles too persistently.
