Mr. and Mrs. Tom Nawn play the Professor and his wife and the three scenes of the play are shown in two sets – the Professor’s studio and the royal tent of the “King of Mahore” which is especially beautiful.
Tom Nawn and Co. performed a new sketch "When Pat Was King" based on his old vehicle "Pat and the Genii."
The situations are interesting, and the comedy droll and humorous, many of the lines being good for big laughs. The act was well received here.
The playlet is fashioned so closely after "Pat and the Genii" that it is sure to be compared with that sketch. The present piece is better written, and more consistently carried out.
