Comedy sketch “Keeping an Appointment”, 18 minutes in 1. Four people and use their own drop. A great idea only fairly written and poorly played. Act opens bare stage, furniture and draperies being brought on during dialogue and arranged in attractive manner. Characters are man and wife, song and dance team, who have a club to play, fresh bellboy, and hotel porter. The evening clothes the couple need fail to arrive and they improvise from the draperies etc. of the room. Very clever. Act concludes with song and dance, during which the furniture and drapings are again removed. Holds spot in fair shape.
