“Almost a Millionaire”
"Almost a Millionaire" - The set shows the interior of the office of "Buttercake & Co.," a mail order firm. The men play the clerk and office boy, while the woman is the young heiress. She places an order for several thousand dollars worth of goods. The clerk figures out the cost for her. She proceeds to thank him, stating it was a school question.
The act will do for a laugh on the small time. The opening in "one" is not necessary. The office boy provides the better comedy; the act could be improved upon.
