“The Vaudeville Broker”

Location:
Theater:
Date:
The sketch is the property of Mike Simon and Ren Shields.
The action takes place in the office of Ned Sparks (Howard Truesdale), a vaudeville agent who is rather shy on kale. He has hired Willie Runner (Bert Byron), a messenger boy, to do office work. Howland Rant (Michael Sullivan), an old "legit", has applied to Ned for a part in a playlet. A rehearsal is given. The act finishes with an imitation of a moving picture, given by the company.
The act registered many laughs and received liberal applause.
With a little bit of work and a cut to the running time, the act will do nicely.
