Type:
Operetta. Stanislaus Stange wrote the libretto, and
Reginald De Koven composed the score. Edith Bradford, who plays the Spanish
girl, has a good soprano voice. Almon
Knowles is possessed of a fairly good
tenor.
The audience
Monday night refused to applaud.
The story is insipid, absurd, cumbersome,
and even too unnatural for the
most outlandish grade of comic opera.
