The Great Royland performed talk, dances and music.
His tall lankiness is a good starter for him, for on appearance alone, he is sure of a laugh.
He uses the violin to sound like speaking, which is rather well done and gains laughs.
Royland was a big hit with his "small time" audience.
He is a first-rate comedy act for the smaller houses. A rube dance closed the act strongly and more of the dance thing should be installed.
