Jacobs & Jermon are supposed to be managing the burlesque this season. The show was staged by John G. Jermon. The act was originally a Ed. F. Rush show, but has not been of much account for some seasons now.
The first part is called "Here, There and Everywhere." It has a couple of gay husbands and jealous wives who cause the noise and disturbances. The comes the olio of four acts with Spiro and Lovins and the Balton Troupe, a foreign acrobat turn, composed of five women. The intermission came after the olio, and then the second act. Mr. Baker is the only comedian and Lee Hickman his assistant. Others in the burlesque include Babe La Tour, Helaine De Nourie, Edith Graham, Arthur Heller, and Kelly and Feely.
The trouble with "The Bon Tons" is that it is still an Ed Rush show. The entire second act flopped; it could not even be held up by the suggestiveness of the Pullman Car scene. This was cinched after the "soda water fountain" from "The Girl Behind the Counter" was seen; there was nothing worth listening to after this.
