Their early talk runs to rather labored gagging, but the singing does nicely and from midway of the routine to the finish they have an idea. It begins with a light comedy number, the refrain of which is something like "Give Me Back What I've Lent You and Return My Sweetheart Too." The lyrics are partly recited in a quarrel bit, during which one of the men goes off and returns to the other most of his clothes, piece by piece, until he is reduced to a hat and a long overcoat from beneath which his pantsless legs show. Follows a reconciliation between the two and a final verse for an exit.
