On loan from the U.S.S. Michigan, Reilly's talent is brought to the audience in hopes of sparking interest in the navy.
"Reilly may be a good sailor, but his place is on the stage with a piano in front of him." He is just as good as Nora Bayes, Bernard Granville or Raymond Hitchcock. Furthermore, his voice is an excellent baritone. Versatility should be his middle name.
