They
have permitted one incongruity to slip in.
It would be hard for them to defend on
any ground the presence in their sketch
of a pseudo-pathetic ballad of the very
latest 28th Street manufacturer. It is
altogether out of the atmosphere, and
introduces a jarring note in an otherwise
harmonious ensemble.
