Old Soldier Fiddlers

Location:
Theater:
Date:
20 min. F.S., close in one. This is a novelty, and no mistake. The old gentlemen do not pretend to excel as violists, but they get the sympathy of the audience right away and the patriotic sentiment which they bring with them and is everywhere evident. Scene represents a soldier’s reunion at Gettysburg, and Col. Pattee is spokesman interspersing his remarks with some good war stories. The patriotic numbers received good applause and on the whole, the feature was a success. Closed in one to big applause, the audience standing to the national anthem.
