Neil Abel is a facetious, beguiling entertainer with a merry fund of stories, droll imitations of the colored folk and a dialect and dancing mannerisms wholly typical of the black race. Abel years ago worked in blackface and won his spurs with his personal minstrel style. Now he appears in whiteface and the effect is not nearly as marked nor immediate. Abel and his self-styled "mobile face" would be doubly more entertaining if smeared again by burnt cork.
