Mrs. W. E. Annis & Co.

Mrs. Annis has surrounded herself with three very clever young men. The act as a whole is very acceptable. Instead of her name being an asset, I am satisfied that it is a detriment to the act. In spite of the fact that we gave her lots of advertising and of the kind that would get her sympathy, she didn’t get a hand when she walked on the stage, and the fact that she is featured makes the audience expect more from her, with consequent disappointment. I am sure that if the act were presented as the So-And-So Quartette it would go much better. 20 Min. in Two.
