Mrs. Gen. Tom Thumb is said to be 73 years old. "The midgets are recalled by name and fame as freak attractions, having exhibited in side shows and museums for years, if not all of the present troupe, some of them. They are not to be seriously considered as actors, and what they did doesn't matter—it is the sight of these very little people who are so well known by reputation." However, today's vaudeville has midgets hired as real entertainers, something the Thumbs have never considered.
"The Enchanted Statue" looks as if they are putting on a marionette show. They employ the use of "miniature people."
The concept and setting is antique. It draws a curiosity that is satisfied at first sight.
