While it took the 23rd Street audience
a few minutes to analyze Maud's
humor, she finally had them and closed
one of the evening's big hits. The repertoire earns her a speech with
a half dozen bows, but the "inside
chatter" would carry Maud Ryan
through with half the numbers.
