The young woman, of prima donna tendencies, seems to have listened to poor advice by becoming a "rag" singer instead. She is a passable blonde, wearing good clothes and changes for each song, but she cannot sing ragtime. Nonetheless, her looks and voice entitle her to a place upon the stage.
