Lillian Burkhart & Co.

In a new sketch entitled ‘A Strenuous Daisy.’ Miss Burkhart is supported by one other woman and two men, and it seemed to me this afternoon that this new company appeared to much better advantage than that of the last one she brought us. It is possible that this is because they do not have so much to do, but they certainly got through all right. The woman whom she has with her is really very good indeed. The act itself is pretty hard to classify. For the first half of it there is comedy and the last half pathos. The audience this afternoon certainly enjoyed it. It gives Miss Burkhart herself an opportunity to show her versatility, and I have an idea that the act will be satisfactory to everybody. 21 min, full stage.
