The principal feature of the act is Lafayette's impersonation of Ching Ling Foo, the Chinese magician. It was well done. His travesty, the impersonation of John Philip Sousa, was the best part of the act.
While most of the interest of the show is centered around Lafayette, and he certainly has some merit, none of his imitations are original. His act is entertaining but does not deserve the lavish praise given to him.
