Laddie Cliff

He opens with a song called "Put a Little Powder On It," and in place of the old character song sings "The Difference 'Twixt the Coster and the Swell," the latter having a first rate "applause" finish, in addition to which the youngster does a bit of monologue after his dance, made up of some rather stale material.
This part was much too grown-up for Laddie. He's such a delightful "kiddie" it seems a real pity that he aims for the adult class prematurely.
