He opens with
a song called "Put a Little Powder On It,"
and in place of the old character song
sings "The Difference 'Twixt the Coster
and the Swell," the latter having a first rate
"applause" finish, in addition to
which the youngster does a bit of monologue
after his dance, made up of some
rather stale material.
This part was
much too grown-up for Laddie. He's such
a delightful "kiddie" it seems a real pity
that he aims for the adult class prematurely.
