Both in evening dress wait- ing for “their girl,” a Mary Smith, who happens to be the girl for whom both are waiting, though singly and unaware of the other’s presence until the due course of time. Crossfire. “Oh What a Pal Was Mary” by straight. Parody by comic. Some more crossfire. Very effective.
