Kublick
is a novelty musician, playing a violin held
horizontally on a stand. The same arrangement
with a phonographic horn gives the instrument
both 'cello and violin tones. He also
plays on what he calls a "Hawaiian Banjola," which combines several Hawaiian Instruments
in the resultant music, and he had
a bit of a voice in addition.
He was
as near a riot as possible here, where the
audiences are ordinarily complacent.
