Star Comedienna . Her First appearance at our house; her act is of a very novel character and is amusingly mysterious. The dark changes occupy considerable time however, which are a detriment. Miss Rice commences with a recitation of a horse race, but lacks the rhetorical power in this line that she possesses as a singer. I consider the act a pleasing one, but not of a superlative character. Full stage; time 18 minutes.
