Miss Carus dances, sometimes “straight,” and then again she shades off into a burlesque of the Pavlowas.
Miss Carus performed "Since Maggie Dooley Learned the Hula-Hula." Miss Carus sings some others of the "coon" variety.
She was a bit too polite in the opening of the act, although she received a big reception at her first entrance. But audiences don't care to have Miss Carus polite.
It is all good fun.
