Miss Carus jumps around a little, sings a little in a deep-chested contralto voice, occasionally says “hello there,” changes her gowns, and then repeats until the curtain drops.
The audience "applauds her as it has applauded nothing else on the bill."
Miss Carus is not refined in her comedy and leaves the house in a unanimous giggle.
