Upon opening, Dr. Herman gives a short descriptive lecture, mentioning his elaborate and showy apparatus upon the stage, among many being a "herman coil." Following a few demonstrations of his power to withstand an electrical shock, The Doctor calls for volunteers. As they grasped the foils, Herman holding the others, the current was turned on and the fun commenced.
One of the best laughing acts ever at Hammerstein's.
