Opening with a long explanation, the Doctor insists that the audience take him seriously. He insists also that he is there with the past, present and future stuff, and can also tell you how to go out and get the coin if your present business is not the right one, etc.
Reader of Human Destiny. Temple of Esau
The Doctor remains on the stage, using an eyeglass arrangement that looks like automobile glasses. Different people in the audience hold up their hands and Old Doc Perin tells them things that for the most part they don't care to hear. In the evening, a young woman in the orchestra caught the idea off the reel. Her laughter placed Old Doc Perin's act hors de combat for that night, but he may land it yet.
Vaudeville has stood for all sorts of bunk, but the Doctors soars to heights in Bunkdome that up to this period had never been dreamed of. Old Doc Perin did pretty well.
