Dooin & McCool

Location:
Theater:
Date:
“After the Game.” 20 min. in one. The well known catcher of the Phillies and the probable manager, assisted by James McCool, the well known Philadelphia minstrel. From a singing standpoint alone, the act is all right. Dooin has a very god voice, while McCool is undoubtedly one of the best singers of Irish songs we have ever had on our stage. The way the act is put together, it gives opportunity for quite some laughs on the strength of Dooin’s ball-playing. The act was extremely well received, big applause for each number and closed strong. From a box office attraction, it is certainly a winner, as our house this afternoon was absolute capacity and there is no question but what Charlie Dooin was a drawing card.
