Her impersonations
are skilfully done, Harry Lauder being
the only one not convincing. In place of
Connie Ediss, Miss Mayne is imitating
Clarice Vance singing "Maria," a splendid
bit of mimicry. The accompanist deserves
to be named on the program.
Clarice Mayne had an important place
next but one after intermission and
walked away with it.
