The 50th performance of "Madeleine," and the 100th performance of the Camille D'Arville opera company. The ladies were given a souvenir in the shape of a silver bonbonniere, in basket form, which stood about six inches high.
"Madeleine; or the Magic Kiss"
The Tremont theater was filled last night by a most enthusiastic audience, which testified to its liking for "Madeleine," Miss D'Arville, and, in fact, all of the company, by the applause with which it met every effort. Miss D'Arville was given a very warm reception and all of her songs during the evening called for several encores.
All of the company were successful in pleasing.
