GHR 2. Full stage, two men, one woman, 21 minutes. This is the first appearance here of this capable character actor, who offers an excellent comedy, entitled “The Cow boy and the Lord”. He impersonates an English Lord to gain the consent of the girl’s father, and failing, assumes the character of a Cow-boy. His character work is clever. The woman is Henrietta Browne, who does some good work. The act is quaint and contains numerous laughs. Considering the lateness of Mr. Douglass’ appearance he held the audience to the finish.
