A manager calls at a booking agency run by the office boy because "the boss has skipped." The boy undertakes to deliver the desired performers underhandedly by palming off a plumber.
The office boy is a sprightly fellow with a clear conception of rough comedy roles and puts across a lot of laughs without much material to do it on.
Four people are engaged in working out an idea which lacks novelty, but affords good entertainment as at present handled. A grand opera selection uncovers some fairly good voices. Of fair class, the act with a better grade of players would score.
