"The Master Musician" showcases both Auguste Van Biene's musical and acting talents. The cellist stars in Thomas Brodhead's comedy, assisted by Eileen Van Biene and Lena Burnleigh. The comedy romance is based around a poor cellist.
His cello playing was received well by the audience. They repeatedly applauded his songs, especially his renderings of several old-fashioned airs.
