‘Little Cleo’ Gascoigne

15 min. in one. Petite Prima Donna with well chosen program and some semi-classical songs. Splendid voice and pleasing personality. Going very well. Liberal applause after each number.

Mr. & Mrs. Carter De Haven

25 min. F.S. Clever patter to music interloped with songs and dances. The technique, clothes and gowns of the artistic combine to make a charming, classy act, in spite of the surfeit of self advertisement in the patter. Going very well.

Russell Brothers and Co.

Full stage, can close in one. “A Romance of New Jersey”, in which they have the assistance of Miss Russell and John Russell, Jr. There are plenty of laughs and a good comedy in this new sketch and they were the hit of the bill.

Williams and Tucker

Full stage presenting “Driftwood.” The most artistic sketch we have played here this season and I really consider it very much better than their old offering “Skinny’s Finish.” A decided hit here.

Burr McIntosh

His well known travelogue, ‘The Philippines and Japan Today.’ Students of recent history and modern politics, a large number of whom comprises our audiences, enjoy this illustrated lecture very much. In one.

William Courtleigh

Supported by a good company he presented ‘PEACHES.’ While there are some strong plays in town against us this week I believe this will be the most popular of them all. It is a pleasure on Saturday night to pay even a large figure for acts like this. Vaudeville will grow stronger and more popular all the time with well played similar dramatic offerings.

Felix and Caire

A couple of youngsters, a boy and girl about sixteen years of age, and in their imitations certainly did secure the approval of the house. Girl is good and boy is quite remarkable. Comedy prevails. Full stage, closing in one.

LaGardenia

Assisted by five Troubadours, playing mandolins and guitars, and a male partner she presented with him four Spanish dances and received equally as many curtains. She came here under a cloud on account of having, alone, done suggestive dance in New York. This we eliminated and she made a hit. Carried beautiful special scenery. Full stage.

Irene Franklin and Burt Green

Miss Franklin did seven character songs, with seven changes of costume, and we must admit that for clever songs, cleverly sung and acted, she receives the medal over the great majority of high priced woman stars paid outrageously big salaries. Another big hit. Full stage, but usually in one.

Julia Sanderson

Her last song in which appears the boy made up as a “Teddy Bear” was very much appreciated but we do dislike to give up $400 for this act.  Opens in two, closes in one.
