Singing comedienne. 10 min. Olio in one. Miss Falke is going fully as big with us this week as during former engagements, which was very good.
12 minutes, garden. Juggling. This young lady is a big hit here, doing many of the difficult tricks performed by Salerno and does them equally as well. I consider her a great act-one that will stand special billing.
Comedy acrobats. 15 min. Interior. This family do some very difficult work. If they would dress the act a little better and cut out some of the alleged comedy, I think it would be among the best acts of the kind in the business.
10 minutes, full stage, interior. Restaurant scene. They have a very hard place on the bill, closing the shows, and are only going fair with us. I think their act is entirely too slow, mush slower than during their first engagement with us. I intend to tell them tonight that I think it would improve their act to do it much faster.
20 minutes, full stage, closing in one 3 minutes. Miss Loftus is going very well with us and is surely improving our business. Miss Loftus is one of the most agreeable stars we have ever played, being anxious to do anything that would improve her act or the business of the house. She draws a class of people who are not regular patrons of vaudeville and I feel sure that with the show we are giving them this week we will be able to retain as regular patrons a larger percentage of people.
Opening in one about 10 minutes, then to full stage. Wood. This is the third time we have played this act and I do not hesitate to say that it is going better than at any former engagement here. The act is very neat, the electric display making a great picture, and the girls good musicians. Taken as a whole, I consider it one of the best musical acts we have in vaudeville.
14 minutes. Garden. Female impersonations and character changes. This is undoubtedly the best act of the kind that I have ever seen and he is going very big with our patrons, much better than on his first appearance here two years. He is compelled to take several bows at the close of his act during every performance.
Olio in one, 3 shows, 10 minutes, singing and violin playing. Miss Ravenscroft is appearing at 8:10 with us and going very. I consider her one of the best three a day act in the business and would not hesitate to recommend her to number two on any bill.
18 minutes, interior, closing in one 2 minutes in “Der Kapellmeister”. This is the first time we have played Stanley & Wilson and I consider it a very act. The singing of Miss Wilson and the imitation of the clarinet playing by Mr. Stanley is exceptionally strong. The act is going very big with us.
25 minutes, full stage. In “My Awful Dad”. This act is going very well but not as well as last season as some of the people in the act had to get up in their parts on account of taking off “Lend Me Five Shillings” after the first performance, which to us was one of the worst acts we have ever played.
