The Department Store

A comedy offering by six people. 22 min. Special set. Pretty scenery. One would thing that an act with Fred Ardath in would be very good from what he has done. This offering seems new and unless there is a great improvement in same [sic] it will never make good. Every one seems to be out of place and there is practically no plot to the offering. Act gets some laughs but not enough. Went fair.

Three Steindel Bros

Work full stage. 15 min. A wonderful musical offering of piano cello and violin the later a wonder. Act did not go over very well but it most [sic] have been appreciated.

Bostock’s Riding School

A clever offering in special set 15 min. Special set. Some good bare back riding and a lot of comedy out of the finish of act where they show how riders are taught. Went good.

Harold DuKane Co.

Man and two women in full stage special set. 15 min. A beautiful dancing offering. Beautiful wardrobe and hansome [sic] stage setting. The Act pleased a good many but not a majority of our patrons. Went fair.

Fox & Ward

Black face, couple of songs, talking and a little dancing they told all the old jokes they ever knew, 17 minutes in one. Went big.

Les Valdos

A comedy Hindu novelty. Four men two work from Audiennce [sic] 14 min. Full stage. Special. While there is a lot of comedy the offering is also mysterious. Went well. Quite a lot of flowers are given away each show. Went good.

Thornton & Thornton

Man and woman work in one. 14 min. Comedy talk and songs. The act gets away to a good finish by the use of a dog which crys [sic] while they sing. Orther [sic] ways the act would go very badly.

The Miracle

A wonderfull [sic] Offering Full Stage. Act presented by a man and woman. Man goes through audience [sic] and any song of instrumental number is song or played by woman of act. The man does no talking. 15 min. Went good.

Norman Sper

Works in one with slides illustrating scenes in waring [sic] Europe with a leature [sic] on same. 15 min. Went good.
