Josie Heather

English comedian. 18 minutes. Olio in one. Miss Heather is a very neat dresser. Her first two songs did not go over very well. Her last song is really a hit. Her salary is entirely too high. I would consider $200 a good price for this act.

Dewar’s Comedy Circus

Two ponies, mule and dog. Trainer with 4 assistants, just the same act as Hickeys Comedy Circus on it is not worked as well 15 minutes full stage and went very well, would have gone far better is Hickeys Circus had not played here.

Miss Ray Dooley and her Metropolitan Minstrels

5 young ladies and 2 young men, men black face, women white dresses, singing and dancing, open with minstrel first part, some good lively songs, go in to one for a couple of songs and then to full stage for a finish, the finishing song I’m Afraid of the Big Moon, with a lot of knockabout comedy went big. Don’t like the act myself but went big at finish. 20 min.

Bailey and the Teare Sisters

Man and two women, colored people, singing, dancing and music (brass) dressed nicely and women play brass fairly well, what little comedy there is don’t amount to much, 12 minutes in one just got fair hand.
