3 Juggling Millers

3 men. Time 9. In 3 woods. High class club throwing and juggling act. Work fast, neat and clean.

Dorenzo & Ladue

3 men. Time 12. Garden. Comedy bar gymnasts. Their big feature is some grotesque stunts on a long revolving pole which gets them many laughs.

Bowman Brothers

2 men, one white face and one black face, but the former blackens up for close. In 1. Time 11. Singing and talking. Very good, bright and refreshing.

The Sleeds

Time 11. F.S. with a special act. They present a pantomime entitled “The Mysterious Hotel”. The fun is furnished by some original and cleverly executed tricks in “black art”. A big laugh from start to finish.

Lillian Ashley

In 1. Time 11. Songs ordinary; singing, fair. Imitations in children stories, good. Not much applause.

Pedersen Bros.

2 men. F.S. Garden. Time 7. One clown. Excellent ring work with great finish. Comedy good.

Geller Troupe

Three people who on a revolving circular platform give some excellent reproductions of marble statuary. 12 minutes. Full stage.

Buro, Lwande and Wilson’s Bijou Circus

Two men and a woman, one of the men making up as a clown and the other as a ringmaster, while the woman does a very fair trapeze act. These people have good material and some clever animals, and if the alleged comedy were eliminated and a better finish secured, their act would be in a class all by itself. 18 minutes, full stage.

Clay Clement and Co.

Presenting ‘The Baron’s Love Story’. Comment seems unnecessary as this act has been meeting with success wherever produced, and this house was no exception. This morning’s Leader in speaking of the act said, “This sketch is the most artistic ever produced at the Empire.”

Suzanne Leonard and Owen Westford

In the one act musical farce, entitled, “The Understudy.” These people are not strong enough for headliners and at half the salary, their act could only be called fair. It might go allright in New York, but the act fell very flat here. 21 minutes full stage.
