Bert Leslie and Bob Dailey & Co.

This is one of the greatest comedy sketches we have ever had. The way that Leslie hands out slang is a treat. There is nothing rough about him and nothing the most refined person could complain of but his slang is a perfect marvel and his manner of delivering it is great. This act could close any show and hold all the people, full stage 20 mins.

Marcus & Gartelle

A very good opening act or could even go second or third on the bill. Their finish on roller skates is extremely funny and makes a big hit with the audience, full stage, close in 14 minutes.

Della Fox

Looks better than she has at any time during her vaudeville engagements. Her voice is stronger and she seems more like her former self. Miss Fox comes our first in dress but it is when she changes to boy’s costume for her second song that she makes good with the audience, works in two 11 minutes.

Henry Miller

This is Mr. Miller’s first appearance in vaudeville and he is presenting ‘Frederick Lemaitre,’ undoubtedly the greatest sketch ever offered in vaudeville theatre. Mr. Miller’s reputation as a finished actor is so widely known that it is scarcely necessary to say that every word and gesture is all that the stage could ask. He is drawing a big business and receives two and three curtain calls at every performance. If we had more acts of this kind it would be a good thing for vaudeville, full stage 30 minutes.

Adele Rafter

This young woman was with the Bostonians for three seasons singing the leading contralto parts, with Mr. Bluebeard from the opening until the fire in Chicago playing the leading boy’s part. This season she was with the China Doll in New York, where she also at one sang the contralto part in Run Away Girl at Daly’s Theatre. Miss Rafter is a young woman of splendid appearance, has a magnificent voice, is making good here and drawing in a lot of money. Of course she is widely known in Buffalo as her home is in Dunkirk, 40 miles from here, where her father is the Episcopal minister. All in one 11 minutes.

Ella Bradna

The bareback rider. This act is not as startling as we had been led to expect but it is widely different from all other horse acts, both animals being very beautiful and Miss Bradna herself is charming and handsomely gowned. The act seemed to please, full stage 3 minutes.

The Sunny South

This is a new negro act which was presented in Hyde & Behman’s week before last. It was rather lengthy at the matinee but after cutting it down 9 minutes at the night performance it went much better and probably by the end of the week will be an average good act, full stage, close in two 17 minutes.
