Slapstick comedy sketch, costumes and office interior set.
Comic dialog and a song.
"The New Office Boy."
The opening shows there is the germ of a very good idea and as the act goes along it gets a lot of laughs although Mr. Carr when he arrives as the new office boy seems to be willing to go to any slapstick extreme for comedy. The act is a type that will get laughs and as comedy acts of this type are scarce there doesn't seem any reason that this one should not be routed. The finish in "one" with a burlesque marriage ceremony and some chatter is too long. The song and the appearance of the girl in the bridal costume would be enough if the closing in "one" is necessary.
