"The New Scholar." Featuring Clarence Wilbur as Patsy, and there are six
girls, billed as "The O'Connor Sisters,
Great Britain's Famous Songsters." The
former they may be; the latter they are
not. Sam Colt plays Prof. Evergreen, and Chas. B. McDonald and Emma Schewell played small parts.
The act went very big at the
Alhambra Monday night. The top of the house simply
howled at the rough comedy; the
rougher, the louder they howled.
