" Walters and Prouty get away with a quantity of first-rate talk and score without resorting to parodies. The comedian has a fine rich dialect and his partner makes a first-rate "straight" man with agreeable stage presence and an excellent voice. Their only approach to roughness is in the operative travesty and even here they exercise considerable judgement"
