Mr. Dailey is naturally a very clever entertainer, but there is an impression that he ought to have a better vehicle for his talents than Mack and Orth's skit entitled "Our Bob."
The writers have created a character whose "kidding" propensities are carried too far to be wholesome. But Mr. Dailey makes the best of it, and no one doubts his ability to handle heavier work if he has the chance. The character of Our Bob is a sort of "crazy quilt" affair, but in it there are moments when Mr. Dailey has an opportunity to show that he is a real player, and besides he can play the piano and sing. Miss Hester Armstrong and Mr. R.S. Roberts give him capable support.
