opener, giving the singer opportunity to
represent three different types of men.
The Naval Officer" brought her into
view at its finish as a neat dancer, with
lithe and graceful step. Other songs were "In the Park" and "My Birthday."
For an
encore, heartily demanded after four curtain
calls, she changed to a sailor's suit
and sang "I'm Going Away"
Like Vesta Tilly, Miss King
has the knack of gathering in her audience
and carrying them along entranced.
