Billed as from "The Love Mill," Charlotte Leslay makes quite a flash but should give more attention to her vocal catalogue. The opening offering a semi-classical one is O.K., but. a Frenchy selection next would not be missed. Miss Leslay closes with a short recitation in which she promises to sing an F above high C in her following number. She keeps her promise and gives the first hint of her impressive range. - The act is all right for the big small time now, but following the precedents established by her vocalizing sisters in the two-a-day, her numbers would have to be revised. No accompanist is used.
