The act was ten minutes long.
Edith Clifford is a blonde singer with “a pretty dress” from the West. She sings some songs in a “Yiddish” dialect, as well as some in the style of English music.
"Yiddish Nightingale"; "Let Me Know the Day Before"; "You Can't Bamboozle Me"
"Edie" is ten years ahead of her time, but she was still incredibly popular with the crowd at the Columbia.
If all of her songs were handled as well as the "Yiddish" number, Edith could become a big time vaudeville regular. She could also achieve higher levels of success by choosing restricted material which would not offend youthful or more refined vaudeville audiences.
