The Roof theatre has been decorated with American flags and the setating capacity seems tremendous. A peachy looking girl is in the inside box office.
"Dr. Volta" headlined the first show of four acts. (See also Hammerstein's "Dr. Herman")
The weather was one of the worst nights seen in years and it was Christmas Day. No one with a home and any sense would have ventured forth, but over 400 people witnessed the performance up in the air and liked it.
The "dope" around the New York Saturday night, considering the crowd then on hand, was that Mr. Rosenberg had picked a winner to a certainty, the question remaining only what the Roof could make weekly.
