The Lion Tamer. 25 min. F.S. Miss Bergere’s act has been described before, and very highly commended as it well deserves. The part of the jealous “Queen of the Lions” suits Miss Bergere’s emotional temperament perfectly. The action is swift and the interest in cumulative right up to the melodramatic finish. The costuming and stage setting are elaborate, and the support is all that can be desired. Miss Bergere received a strong advance hand and at the close got immense applause. She is a favorite in Philadelphia and will no doubt draw much business to the house.
