The opinion here is that the sketch is valueless after 3:30 or 9:30. They would not walk out on it at 8 o’clock, but they do walk out in droves when the act is placed in a position to hold them. The woman is unattractive, and the dialogue for the first 15 minutes is crazy and uninteresting. At this point the woman changes her costume and the “champagne drunk” part of the act begins. It is only at this point that the audience becomes interested, and this interest continues for only a very few minutes. The act fell flat at 4:03 and 9:46, and consequently has been shoved up
